Jeffrey Pfeffer is the Thomas D. Dee II Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Pfeffer has authored or co-authored 16 books on topics including power and politics in organizations, competitive advantage through the management of people, evidence-based management, the workplace and its effects on behavioral and physical health, and The Knowing-Doing Gap. He has lectured in 39 countries. Pfeffer has served on the board of directors of several human capital software companies as well as other public and nonprofit boards and advisory boards. He received an honorary doctorate from Tilburg University and is a member of the Thinkers 50 Hall of Fame.
